Schedule for Concept Presentations
The schedule below is fluid and subject to change over time. The City of Mission Viejo has plans to present the concept to the Planning and Transportation Commission and the Community Services Commission and the City Council throughout the next six months to gain approval so the first phase of the project can proceed. The intent of the schedule is to provide multiple opportunities for the community to provide input and review the proposed project.

City Council Meeting
Introduce the Core Area Concept “LOS OSOS” at the City Council meeting. During the presentation the City will present to the City Council the initial concept, review the schedule for review, share the video and review the updated website, envisionmv.com.
May 8, 2023
Planning and Transportation Commission Meeting – 6:30 pm
This presentation will present the basic concept of the Los Osos Project to the Commission and review the traffic study and impacts architectural elevations and seek public input. This meeting is at 6:30 pm.
May 16, 2023
Community Services Commission Meeting – 6 pm
Present the concept to the Community Services Commission and seek public input. During this presentation the City staff will highlight the recreational and site programming opportunities. This meeting is at 6 pm.
May 23, 2023
City Council Meeting – 6 pm
Present the project to the City Council for the Los Osos project. Present the details of the traffic study and impacts and architectural elevations and seek public input. This meeting is at 6 pm.
July 10, 2023
Planning and Transportation Commission Meeting – 6:30 pm
Present updated information to the Community Development Commission. Respond to questions from the May 8, 2023 Commission meeting and seek additional public input. This meeting is at 6:30 pm.
August 15, 2023
Community Services Commission Meeting – 6 pm
Present updated information to the Community Service Commission from the May 16, 2023 meeting. This meeting is at 6 pm.
Fall 2023
City Council Meeting – 6 pm
City staff will present the final input to the City Council. This includes public comments, providing a recommendation for the first phase of development, and presenting the conceptual cost estimate based on final public input. Staff will request City Council create the CIP for the Project, appropriate the funds, and authorize staff to hire consultants to prepare the environmental studies and the phase one working drawings. This meeting is at 6 pm.
